About Merritt Electric

Gill Merritt, Merritt Electric's founder, began his electrial career over 30 years ago as an apprentice. Over the years, Gill's character, work ethic and industry knowledge helped him earn a following of loyal customers equipped him to grow his own electrical contracting business from the ground-up.

Gill incorporated Merritt Electric, Inc. in 1995. Since then, he and the Merritt Electric team have grown the business to be the go-to electrical contractor in the regaion for most general contractors, businesses and homeowners.

As a board certified, West Virginia state-regulated licensed electrical contractor, Merritt Electric's professional electrical contractors cover residential, commercial, and industrial electrical needs in southeastern West Virginia and surrounding areas. All of our work is supervised by a West Virginia professional master electrician. In addition, our journeyman and apprentice electricians and contractors are subjected to extremely rigorous testing to maintain our outstanding performance record.
